I use mine from time to time to teach from. It sometimes depends on how many notes I have. I have the first gen 1 and it’s great but I find it somewhat cumbersome to hold while I talk because I move around the stage alot when I teach. The iPad2 seems a little easier to carry around.
Very cool that your church blessed you with this! Keep up the great work bro!

I hear a notable pastor once say that the popular model of doing church only created Consumer Christians and not Jesus followers. I admit I had to confront this when God moved us to Ridge Church, mostly in myself. When my family and I visited churches we often asked, “What’s in it for me?” This was a humbling experience because you realize who your God is when you make decisions based on if it would please that God, and in those questions I was serving the God of self. When we saw Ridge Church God lead us to ask a different question, not what can we get but what could we give. The atmosphere that glorified Jesus and not self has provoked us to a deeper place of worship and growth, for that we are thankful. I do believe we’re being shaken, and bring it on! Peter was shaken, sifted and still rose to strengthen his brothers. Thank you Bobby for being humble enough to admit when things are screwed or wrong and leave yourself open to the move of the Holy Spirit.

What’s worse about that is my wife ordered me 20 boxes of it from Canada, paid for it….and they never came I’m believing they really don’t exist lol
