Let’s Share
If you have iTunes, and most of you do, then you and I should share. Yes, let’s share our music and messages through Simplify Media. It’s a new App you can use to share your iTunes music over the internet with people you choose to share with. You can use it on your iPod Touch, iPhone, or your home computer/laptop. Yes, it’s pretty stinkin’ amazing. And if you’re wondering, no you can not take music from others playlist, so it’s not like illiegeal downloading. It’s more like your friends internet radio station.
Check it out and add me as your friend, Screen name is THERIDGEPASTOR

Honor: Open Letter to Kevin Young
This week I am doing a series of posts on HONOR. I am writing open letters to those individuals who have greatly influenced me and my relationship with the Lord. This comes from a recent message given by pastor Steven Furtick at Elevation Church during the Old Time Religion series. To sum it up, we don’t honor those who have influenced us enough. We should do all we can to let those individuals know the impact they have had on us and the kingdom. Here’s just a little part of that…
Feature Band of the Week: Brightgray
Out of any band I’ve ever featured here on Confessions, this band is far and above my favorite. I’m proud to call these guys friends of mine and super stoked to have the priveledge to do ministry with them from time to time. They have a HUGE heart for students and seeing people come to Jesus through their music and personal relationships with others. That’s what sets them apart from other bands. Not that other bands don’t do that, cause I’m sure they do, but I’ve seen these guys up close and it’s not a put on. It’s the real deal…every day.
Their latest album Capture has some great tunes on it! I’ve been listening to it a lot lately and the song Stay has really been getting a lot plays on my iPod. Go HERE to give them a listen on their myspace and if you’re ever looking for someone to come out to lead worship for your camp, event, or to just play a concert, you won’t be disappointed with having the boys in Brightgray out.
