The third Sunday in November was good to us!  It was a fun day to be at the Ridge!  Check it!

• I’m not going to say we are experts at being a portable church, but if we do anything right, it’s during set up.  It’s done well, usually on time, and effient just about ever week.
• I had a Monster to kick off my day Sunday and I think it was a good call.  Crashed pretty hard later, but man I had an extra kick of energy that bleed through the message.
• I never eat before I preach.  My stomach is already in knots before hand, so it’s usually not a good idea to eat anything
• We doubled our attendance from last week!  If you were there last week, then you know that’s a big win for us!
• Several first time guests were in the house this week.  I’ll never complain about that!
• Preached on serving yesterday and I was pretty blunt about what it is we need from one another as a body of believers.  However, I think I held back a little.  So I’m thinking of starting a weekly post titled “Things I Should Had Said, But Didn’t”  Could be fun AND dangerous!
• What is it we need from one another?  To do our parts.  Be contributing members of the body, useful to the common goal.  In other words, commit and plug in.
• I think that some people’s lack of motivation to serve and spread the Gospel are a direct slap in the face of God.  ALL believers are called to serve and spread the Gospel.  We just do it in different ways.
• If there is one thing that gets me totally fired up, it’s people who claim to be believers but never do anything for the Kingdom.

• I call these kinds of messages Space Makers.  People usually get mad and some don’t come back when you raise the expectation bar.
• The music this week was spot on as always.  Adding several new talents to the band in the coming weeks and I’m pretty stoked about seeing them all on stage together for Christmas Rock Night coming up December 20th.
• An RCC’er tweeted Sunday: My youngest asked today if we are going to the ‘hotel church.’
• Unfortunately we will not be able to give out free hot coco at WalMart on Black Friday this year.  WalMart has changed something in their safety policy that will not allow it.  That’s ok….we’ll just do something bigger and better!
• The next two months at the Ridge are going to be simply amazing!  You seriously do not want to miss it! And if you’re thinking about checking out a church, there’s no better time than right NOW to get in on what God is doing here!
• Come Home starts November 29th, and it’s going to be THE series you want to start inviting people to.  I’m praying that the lost come out hiding over the next several weeks!
