Sunday Replay

Wow!  After all the rain we had on Saturday ( and had to move in it!) I was sure since Sunday was coming, it would surely be wet.  But alas, Sunday came and we had no rain.  Whew!  Made for a great day!

• I know I say it all the time, but I mean it every single time; I love that I get to do this with people I love and like!  We have a great group of volunteers and leaders!
• Been at this for 5 months now and I think we are finally at the point to where we have the setup thing down.  But that’s all about to change in a few weeks when expand our space size.
• Speaking of space…it was very cramped this past Sunday.  Love having that problem!  No worries though, we’ll have more space in a few weeks!
• Besides having more space for people, we’ll also have more space to move our screen to the side, finally giving me room to move around on the stage.  If you’ve seen our set up, you know the speakers and the band will love this!
• Talked about worry this week.  God doesn’t want us to worry.  In fact worry is a sin.
• Why is worry a sin?  Because it implies that God is too small to handle our problems.  Worry says that we can take care of it ourselves.  News flash…we can’t.
• If you worry, you’re not depending on God.  Like it or not, God is a jealous God and wants our attention.
• Next week…we’re talking about breaking free from ANGER
• There will be no cover of St. Anger from Metallica.  I know so many of you wanted it.  But sorry.
• We’re seeing so many people respond to this series and it’s applications.  Love seeing the # of changed lives and people being awakened to life in Christ!  That’s what it’s all about!
• I hope you’re not comfortable with the routine at the Ridge.  We’re changing it up this Sunday! Get ready!
• Speaking of change, we’re working through some new processes for some critical volunteer areas at the church. I can’t wait to implement some of these changes that will greatly impact our church and those that come to the Ridge.
• And yes….I did say that the Ridge is like a good piece of sushi….raw and yummy.  Yup.
