Worship Expression

I love this quote from Joel Houston on worship.  Worship is a verticle expression.  However, without the horizontal effect, it’s just a bunch of songs.  What is the horizontal effect?  It’s how you do life, how you show the verticle expression of love of God towards those we walk in life with.  Worship is loving God with our full hearts AND loving our neighbors (each other) as much as we love ourselves.  You really can’t express genuine worship without both together.  That’s why I dig the quote so much.  It puts it into perspective.
