Weekend Confessions

What a great weekend! I needed this past weekend and had been looking forward to it for weeks! See why….

• Thursday kicked off the weekend with a sweet afternoon of hanging with my two great friends, Russell and Billy. Russell came in from the smog of LA of hang with us at Billy’s lake house
• Riding the jet ski and watching Russell tube…well mainly watch Russell bust his rear was classic!
• I love the Fairbanks family and being around them….and they love my wife and I too! It’s a great deal ha!
• Friday, we headed out into the wilderness with Matt and Deena Robbins for a weekend camping trip….we may just have to make it an annual thing now!
• The camping trip was amazing and I gotta say I really enjoyed being in the wilderness with no phones, tvs, or computers for a few days…
• It’s amazing that people will actually pee their pants and throw bottles of water at you when you act like you saw a bear….but really didn’t!
• The best part of the trip was being with my wife, friends, and my brother Jarrett came up for a few hours to make it that much better…
• Somebody say that Cracker Barrel doesn’t make the best breakfast in the world and I may have to slap you
• We came home early Sunday to enjoy a day at home and I watched all 4 hours of Gettysburg! God’s and Generals is next on my list later this week!
• I enjoyed hanging out with my wife on Sunday evening as well, just relaxing.
• Glad I got the rest because now it’s time to go full on with planting the church….it’s gonna get crazy but I can’t wait!
• Got to talk about the church with several people this past weekend and they really seemed interested….especially when I said it was a church for people who hate church
• Been hearing some great stories about looking forward to being apart of the church!
• It’s back to work!
