Lead Me to the Cross

I was talking with a friend this morning and he reminded me of a great truth that we sometimes forget. The conversation went like this;

Me: I’ve been praying with my wife for awhile now that God will set His path out before us. His path isn’t always the most fun or even the most glamorous, but it’s the path I’d rather be on.

Friend: Are you ready?

Me: For?

Friend: Jesus prayed that (Father not my will but yours) and it led Him to the cross. Are you ready?

Me: …..(crickets)…….Yes

Knowing that, do you still want to be on His path?
